Mr. Pearl’s father, Arthur I. Pearl, was a very well respected civil defense attorney who practiced in Bakersfield from 1975 until his death in 1992. Before practicing law, Art served our country as a chemical engineer in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Pearl’s grandfather, Stephen P. Eyherabide, began practicing in Bakersfield in 1951 and finished his career as a partner with Art. Steve was the first Basque attorney in Kern County. Before beginning his practice, Steve served our country as a captain in the United States Army in World War II, where he lost his leg leading a parel of troops in Northern Italy.
