Matthew C. Clark is a partner with the firm. He joined the firm in 2006 as a litigation associate after having previously worked for five years as an associate with another Bakersfield Law Firm. Matthew's practice is devoted to plaintiff's personal injury litigation.

A Garces Memorial High School alumnus, Matthew grew up in Bakersfield where his family has deep roots. After high school he moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University where he obtained his bachelors degree and then to law school at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. While at McGeorge Matthew was active in the mock trial program as a member of the Mock Trial Honors Team. After obtaining his juris doctorate in 2001 Matthew was admitted to the California State Bar and he returned to Bakersfield.

Matthew is a member of the State Bar of California, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and Kern County Bar Association.

In addition to the practice of law Matthew has served as a mock trial coach at Stockdale High School from 2001 to 2005 and he served as a judge pro tem for the Kern Count Teen Court program from 2002 to 2004. Matthew is a graduate of the Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Bakersfield, class of 2006-2007. Presently, Matthew serves on the board of directors at Clinica Sierra Vista.

In his spare time, Matthew is an avid bicyclist.
