Plaintiff suffered serious injuries as a result of defendant’s failure to adequately maintain, inspect, repair, and control their high pressurized flammable gas pipeline in accordance with standard engineering practices. Defendant’s negligence resulted in catastrophic failure and explosion because of internal pipe corrosion.
