PRE-LITIGATION ASSISTANT

Chain | Cohn | Clark has an immediate opening for a full-time Pre-Litigation Assistant position (8am – 5pm, no weekends, non-remote), focusing on the initial stages of a legal case, gathering information from clients, preparing documents, and managing communication to prepare the case for litigation.

Must be compassionate with a client-focused mindset and high attention to detail, with strong “people skills”, excellent verbal and written communication abilities as the position requires a great deal of client contact.

Must be dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic, be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and an ability to function well within a team. Must have strong time management and organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure.

Must have a strong attention to detail with duties including filing claims, verifying insurance coverage, and maintaining contact with insurance companies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and high school diploma (or equivalent) are required. Prior clerical experience is also required. Candidates with law office experience will be given priority.

Extra consideration given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish. Salary is dependent on experience, with the law firm offering an excellent benefits package, and an opportunity for advancement within the firm.
