Legal Assistant/Secretary

Chain | Cohn | Clark has an immediate opening for a full-time legal assistant position (8am – 5pm, no weekends, non-remote), assisting paralegals, multiple attorneys and other staff with document management, legal filing, and phone and client communication.

Other job duties include legal calendaring, electronic court filing, data entry, preparation of legal documents, follow up on pending matters. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Must be a quick learner. Must be proficient in e-mail and data entry.

Candidates must be highly organized and detail oriented, with a professional presentation and personality. The law firm seeks someone with a very strong work ethic, who is punctual and reliable, able to manage a busy schedule, and multitask effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and high school diploma (or equivalent) are required. Prior clerical experience is also required. Candidates with law office experience will be given priority.

Extra consideration given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish. Salary is dependent on experience, with the law firm offering an excellent benefits package, and an opportunity for advancement within the firm.
