Pedestrian Accident | Tuller v. NAPD

This case involves a motor vehicle accident on eastbound Highway 178, when a driver of Ford F-150 crashed into workers of the Bakersfield Homeless Center’s highway cleanup crew.

The driver, according to police reports, stated he was drinking an energy drink, dropped the can and looked down to retrieve the drink before the crash. The three plaintiffs, who were employees of the Bakersfield Homeless Center at the time of the incident, suffered various injuries including traumatic brain injury, bone fractures, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
